The Truman Company has been buying and selling rare coins, gold, silver, and collectibles in Roseville since 2008, built on more than 35 years of hands-on experience in the numismatic trade.
That experience is the whole business. Anyone can look up a spot price. Knowing whether the 1916 dime in your father’s drawer is worth eight dollars or eight hundred — that takes decades of holding coins in your hand, and it’s what you’re getting when you walk through our door.

Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm. For a large estate or a collection you’d rather not transport, call ahead and we’ll make arrangements.
Does an appraisal cost anything?
No. Evaluations are free with no obligation to sell.
Should I clean my coins first?
Please don’t. Cleaning is the single most common way collections lose value, and it’s irreversible — a cleaned coin can be worth a fraction of the same coin untouched. Bring it exactly as you found it.
Do you buy jewelry that’s broken or missing pieces?
Yes. Broken chains, single earrings, and damaged pieces are bought on gold and silver content.
What if I don’t know what I have?
That’s most people. Bring it in — figuring out what you have is the part we’re good at.
